Local Propane Service

Independent Propane Service is a local, family-owned business that opened its doors to continue to provide the best service to the loyal customers of San Luis Obispo County and southern Monterey County. Ryan Lindberg, owner, started in the propane industry in 1997 working for his father, Scott Lindberg at Central Coast Propane. He began with grinding tanks in the yard and learned service, delivery, and sales, which eventually led him to managing the company. He happily serviced the central coast for over 25 years. Still, after working for the corporation that bought his father's company, he decided that a local and independent company was needed again. Ryan and Kari opened the doors to Independent Propane Service in January 2025. They are Central Coast natives with strong roots in the community. They look forward to providing honest, reliable, and friendly service to you at your home, business, or farm.
